Watched the old movie chitchor yesterday, songs from that movie are some of my favorites.

Singer was Yesudas, many of his songs then were hit.
Dont know what happened later he almost vanished
from the bollywood music scene.

The villian is mother of the village girl who decides that a boy who is not rich
is not good for her daughter, even when she is initially pleased by his
personality.

This movie also gives a sad picture of the reality of life in India, where a
perfectly nice mother starts disliking a person just because he isnt earning
as much or has no social status.

How greed changes people ? or how people show true colours in greed ?
